Together, We Can Transform Lives
“I am so appreciative and in awe of the work you have done for my family, I would like someone else less fortunate to have this experience. Can I make a donation to your organization?”
With that simple statement, a decision was made to launch Together We Can Charity.
Together We Can was formed to provide patient aid to those people who could never afford the opportunity to attend private addiction treatment that is available in a facility like Sober Living Rehab.
We have made it our mission to give this type of treatment experience, when possible, to the many deserving families who pine for their loved ones to get the very best in chemical dependency treatment. Over the years we have had several alumni, their families, and people in our community who have so generously given so that others may receive the treatment they need and in doing that return to our society happy, productive and free. We are so very grateful to these individuals who want to further the efforts of our facility and chemical dependency treatment in general.
Together We Can was created exactly for that purpose. It has provided an opportunity for those of us who have the means to give back, in the fight against this devastating malady of alcohol and drug addiction. There are so many individuals in this world who are struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction that either receives no help or help in some substandard setting or program.
Through your generous donations Together We Can has been able to provide rehabilitation beds not only at Sober Living Rehab but services that meet not only our philosophical bend about recovery but our alcohol and drug treatment standards. The people in our community who give to this most worthy cause achieve more than just returning the addict /alcoholic to society, they often return entire families.
While there are many gratifying stories to relate about how your funds have done great work, one that always comes to mind is the story of a single mother whose kids had been removed from her household because of her neglect due to her drug and alcohol use. “Brook” through the TWC Charity was able to come through SLR where she was able to relearn the skills necessary to go out and not only stay sober but to be the kind of parent, daughter, and sister that she desperately wanted to be.
Our life's work is to fight the stigma of addiction. We want to create a world, starting with our local communities, that accepts, educates and offers recovery, support and a safe environment for individuals and their families who have been affected by addiction.
But in order to do this, we need your help!
With your support we can make addiction recovery accessible to anyone who seeks it, restore families affected by their loved ones addiction, increase the number of rehabilitation beds in Australian (starting with Victoria), and save lives that may otherwise be lost without appropriate care.
Together, we can restore hope, health, love and happiness to those battling addiction.
